The Hirschfeld Family Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a private, independent foundation established in 1993 to promote the well-being of the citizens of Nebraska by supporting programs and projects with charitable public purposes.
Our Mission
The Foundation achieves its mission by offering time-limited support to qualified nonprofit organizations that are exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that are not private foundations. Organizations applying for grants should demonstrate efficient operations and effective achievement of their goals. Preference is given to applications that demonstrate local involvement and impact for the grant requested.
